About ...

A group of young people studied in geography the 7 Wonders of the World. The end of a course, the professor asks the students to make a list of what they believe being the 7 wonders of the world. Except some dissensions, the students write for the majority on their copy:

1 - The Pyramids of Egypt

2 - Great Wall of China

3 - Taj Mahal in the Indies

4 - statues of the Easter Island

5 - the Eiffel tower in Paris

 6 - Colisée of Rome

7 - the statue of Freedom in New York while collecting the answers,

the professor sees a quite quiet girl which did not begin its answer yet, then, it requires of him nicely if she tests some difficulty of writing this list. The girl answers him: “Yes, indeed; I cannot really decide, there is so much.” The professor to answer him: “Say to me what you found, and I will be able to perhaps help you” the girl hesitates, then starts to write: 1 - See 2 - To hear 3 - To touch 4 - To feel it hesitates still a little then continues with: 5 - To run 6 - To laugh 7 - To like As it is easy to look at the human exploits and to regard them as wonders, while we do not see even any more the size of these so marvellous gifts which were given to us free. We tend even to qualify them “the very ordinary ones”. We could perhaps make a small pause today and to recall us how much these gifts life are really of Great Wonders.
